- To work with the business community, police, local authority, CSP and other agencies within the borough of Gravesham.
- To reduce the effects of crime upon its members
- To protect staff from acts of physical violence and verbal abuse, which can often lead to stress related disorders.
- To create an integrated and effective partnership
- To manage offending behaviour through sharing of images and information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
- To contribute to the wider community safety agenda
- To expand the partnership to all relevant business sectors
- To reduce the opportunity to commit business and other crime and anti-social behaviour
- To assist with the apprehension and prosecution of offenders
- To reduce the fear of crime for the benefit of staff and public.
- To create a “safe and secure” environment for customers, staff and visitors and to contribute to the economic viability and prosperity of the area.
- To reduce anti-social behaviour.
- To exclude persistent thieves and troublemakers from all member businesses.
- To improve the economic and general environment of the area, subsequently improving prosperity within the area and helping to protect and create employment.
